Where Quiet Men Speak Loud
A dusty road, no stage, no sound,
Just feet that knew this sacred ground.
No crowd to cheer, no script to read
Just quiet men and louder deeds.
Vijay, the calm, with eyes that see
The soul beneath each polity.
Somnath Ghosh, with fire contained,
A map of dreams in thoughts unchained.
They spoke of hopes that rarely land,
Of futures cupped in calloused hands.
Among the lanes where silence grows,
They planted words like seeds in rows.
The banner faded, but not the vow,
The picture still remembers how
The wind once stirred a distant flame
Not fame, but truth, not game, but name.
And though the world may lose its thread,
Shravasti knows what they once said:
That justice walks where courage stays
Two friends, one cause, a thousand days.
